Metering Equipment And Acccessories
We will provide, install and maintain a meter which will measure and record the amount of electricity supplied or energy consumed by customer.
A separate meter may be provided upon a request from customers of electricity living in a multi-family dwelling or share the same meter but now wish to have his/her meter.
On receipt of the request and subject to the establishment by us of a complete and satisfactory separation of the customer’s wiring, we will provide a quotation and administrative invoices for the cost of installing an additional meter (separate meter). We will undertake to install the separate meter within working days after receipt of full payment of the charges involved.
Prepayment Metering Vending System
We will ensure that prepayment vending facility for the purpose of buying credit is established at customer’s door step. We have provided community-based vending facility for the purchase of credit which shall operate on 24/7 basis using our Power Hub E –based technology to buy credit through SMS (e-vouchers) by Airtel Money, Splash Mobile Money and I-PAY Services nationwide.
We will upon the receipt of a reasonable request, reposition a meter in the same premises.
On receipt of the request, we will provide a quotation for the cost of repositioning the meter within working days. We will undertake to reposition the meter within working days after receipt of full payment of the charges involved.
Following the receipt of a complaint about the functioning of a meter, we guarantee to visit the customer’s premises within 12 hours to investigate the matter. If the meter is found to be faulty or malfunctioning, we will replace the meter within our 48 hours after establishing the effect.
This commitment shall not apply if either meter tampering or illegal installation of meter or unauthorized consumption of electricity is clearly established
